With the passing of his son, Davido discusses his relationship with Wizkid
David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a Nigerian artist who has opened up about his friendship with Wizkid.
In an interview with Beat 99.9FM, the singer disclosed that Wizkid has called him every week since the death of his son to see how he is doing.
After Ifeanyi Adeleke passed away on October 31, 2022, the singer and his wife Chioma decided to take a six-month hiatus from social media. Davido confirmed his tour with Wizkid, stating that preparations for it have already begun and that it will take place in 2019.
“I’d be lying if I said that (the tour) wasn’t being discussed. What appears to be future year. I believe that Wiz and I will release a song.
Finally, Davido confirms his marriage to Chioma
Davido, meanwhile, has announced that he is wed to Chioma Avril Rowland, a.k.a. “Assurance lover.”
According to Naija News, the singer disclosed the information while speaking with media personality and content producer Kie Kie.
In the brief excerpt posted online, Davido stated that although the experience of losing his baby was horrific, he is currently married and that they are prepared to face reality and go forward with their lives. Shout out to my brother. He literally calls me every week and checks on me. Shout out to Wiz”.
He also disclosed that taking a vacation from social media allowed him to rethink his album and think about his family.
