Skales Claims Wizkid Never Offered Help in Career Journey

Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, a Nigerian artist, has alleged that his colleague and former record label partner, Wizkid, has never assisted him in his career.
According to Lagmen Net, the singer stated this while appreciating his former record label boss, Banky W, as well as Olamide and Timaya, for their assistance in the music industry.
The ‘Shake Body’ singer also thanked Burna Boy for his support throughout his career in a post on his X account.

He stated, “Put some respect on my name…” I don’t tell anyone except Olamide, Timaya, and Banky W who have helped me. Much respect to Burna… You guys usually enjoy watching artists compete, but I’m here to set the record straight.

“I’m a don with this music and all I wanna do is make music and avoid all that negative toxic bullshit…” “So love your favorite and stop cooking up bullshit stories.”
In response to the post in the comments area, an X user stated that Wizkid created Skales.

He wrote, “Wizkid made you.”

Skales denied the allegations, claiming that he respects Wizkid, but the artist did not assist him.

He said, “Ask him to tell you how… I had respect for him, yet he did not assist me. If anything, Banky deserves recognition and admiration for believing in teenagers.

Skales and Wizkid were the first artists signed to Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment, EME, in the 2010s, but exited the label long after attaining stardom.
