Regina Daniels Discusses Mother’s Opposition to Ned Nwoko

Regina Daniels, a popular Nollywood actress, has revealed that her mother, Rita Daniels, was against her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
The 23-year-old revealed that, contrary to popular belief, her mother and all members of her family opposed her marriage to the politician.
She revealed this on an Instagram Live.

The mother of two revealed that she met her husband on an outing with one of her ex-boyfriends.

She added, “I went to see my lover and was upset since we had to go sightseeing, but when we arrived, I met a cute man.

“The moral of the story is that your boyfriend shouldn’t prevent you from seeing your husband.”

When I started seeing my husband, I forgot I was supposed to have boyfriends; of course, I had around 20. When people assume I don’t have a choice, I’m like, what?

“People were saying mummy forced me not knowing that she was against the marriage, my full family said no.”

Nwoko married Regina Daniels in May 2019 in Aniocha Local Government Area, Delta State, despite their significant age difference.

The 63-year-old politician explained why he married the 23-year-old actress, stating that Regina Daniels was from his hometown.

“I married her specifically because she was from my hometown.

I wanted to marry a woman from my hometown, and I was seeking for the appropriate one. “By the time I met her, I knew she was the one,” Nwoko explained.
