PSC Approves Appointment of Four State Police Commissioners
The Police Service Commission has authorized the appointment of four commissioners of police to lead state commands around the country.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by Ikechukwu Ani, Head of Press and Public Relations, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi, who was recently transferred to Rivers State Command, has been reappointed Commissioner of Police Delta State Command.
CP Peter Ukachi Opara has finally been assigned to the Cross Rivers State Command. He was previously appointed Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory, FCT Command, then transferred to Delta State, but has now been assigned to lead the Cross Rivers State Command.
CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala from Katsina State has been transferred to Rivers State, while Gyogon Augustine Grimah from Nasarawa State has been assigned to the Kaduna State Command.
The permission for the postings was conveyed to the Inspector General of Police for implementation in a letter signed by Commission Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu rtd, mni, PSC, NPM.
