Organizers of the ‘End Hunger’ protest in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, have announced that they will gather at the Federal Secretariat on Aba Road on Monday to continue their demonstration.

This is according to a meeting flyer that our source got on Monday.

The protests continued on Sunday, albeit turnout was low compared to the prior three days.

They were claimed to have partially obstructed the Aba Road flyover with a bathtub while chanting and singing. However, there were no DJs or musical instruments.

Some of them could be heard saying that President Bola Tinubu’s speech did not address their issues, thus they were prepared to continue the protest for the whole 10 days as scheduled.

While there was a large number of security personnel present on Sunday, there was no incident between police and demonstrators, as relations between all parties remained friendly.
