MultiChoice Announces Prize Money and Package for BBNaija Season 9 Winner
The 2024 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) winner will receive a ₦100 million grand prize, according to MultiChoice Nigeria. This statement was made during a news conference in Lagos on Tuesday.
Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at MultiChoice, revealed the specifics, noting that the new season will launch on Sunday, July 28, at 7 p.m. WAT, airing on all Africa Magic channels.
This year’s prize amount is ₦20 million lower than the ₦120 million granted in the previous season. In addition to the financial prize, the winner will get a brand new SUV.
“Drama, relationships, and fierce competition,” with players playing in pairs.
Tejumola said that a total prize of ₦100 million and a new SUV would be granted on October 6, 2024, following 71 days of rigorous battle.
In October 2023, Ilebaye Odiniya won ₦120 million during the all-stars season. However, the prize money has since decreased.
“This season will feature new twists and new housemates who are sure to become fan favorites.”
