Michael Olise Will Join Bayern Munich After Rejecting Chelsea Once More

Michael Olise, a top player for Crystal Palace, is getting closer to realizing his dream of joining Bayern Munich rather than heading to Chelsea, according to reports.
In the past two seasons, Michael Olise’s extraordinary play at Crystal Palace has drawn interest from a number of English clubs.

Newcastle United and Chelsea are two Premier League teams that have shown a persistent interest in him. There are rumors that Manchester United is also interested.

During the previous two summer transfer windows, Chelsea made an attempt to sign him. Chelsea activated his £35 million release clause last summer. Although the France youth international’s move to Stamford Bridge thrilled Blues supporters, he chose to extend his contract with Crystal Palace.

Michael Olise’s contract with Crystal Palace has been extended until June 30, 2027, and it includes a release clause valued at about £65 million.

Chelsea persisted in pressing for his services despite the significant increase in his release clause, and there were rumors a few days ago that the Blues had activated the option.

However, it is said that the 22-year-old Frenchman, whose father is from Nigeria, wants to join Bayern Munich. The transfer is anticipated to be finalized in a few weeks.

“Bayern have reached an agreement on Michael Olise’s salary and contract, deal in place on the player side!” stated transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano on X.

“Olise turns down Palace’s new contract offer; he’s going to Bayern, even though Chelsea and Newcastle wanted him.”

“As @David_Ornstein reported, a deal with Palace is expected to be finalized soon.”
