The Libyan State Minister for Communication and Political Affairs came in Damascus on Saturday to meet with new Syrian officials.
Libyan State Minister Walid Al-Lafi met with Syrian HTS leader Ahmad al-Sharaa at Damascus’ Al-Shaab Palace.
Following the meeting, Al-Lafi informed reporters that he discussed military and security matters with Syria’s new officials.
“It was an important meeting, its importance is because of the timing and the cross files between Libya and Syria especially the military and security files and the consequences of the major events that took place in Syria on the region,” Walid Al-Lafi, the president of Libya, stated.
