Procurement Officer

Job Description:

As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing quality goods and services at competitive prices. You will play a vital role in ensuring the company\’s operations run smoothly by maintaining effective supplier relationships and optimizing procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with company policies.

  •  Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, goods, and services from reliable suppliers.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and new vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Prepare and present regular procurement reports.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Corporate Modern Trade Executive to drive sales growth, build strategic relationships with key modern trade partners, and ensure optimal brand visibility. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of the modern trade landscape and excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and market share within the modern grade channel.
  • Identify and onboard new modern trade partners while strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with key accounts to plan promotions, product displays, and marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor sales performance and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with modern trade partners to achieve win-win outcome.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels, timely deliveries, and efficient merchandising in all outlets.
  • Work closely with internal teams ( e.g., marketing, supply chain) to align strategies and meet customer expectations.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, competitor activities, and market insights.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in modern trade sales, corporate sales, or ley account management.
  • Strong knowledge of the modern trade sector and retail operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, generate actionable insights, and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
