Job Description:

We are looking for a high-caliber strategic thinker to serve as the Technical Adviser to the CEO, working at the intersection of strategy, execution, and high-impact communication. This role goes far beyond crafting boardroom presentations. You’ll be the CEO’s right-hand person, ensuring that all high-stakes projects requiring CEO visibility are effectively monitored, executed, and followed through to completion.

Description:

  • Act as the CEO’s strategic partner, ensuring key initiatives and high-stakes projects are progressing as planned.

Experience:

Engineer – Transmission Access Planning LSW

Job Description:
  • Design, direct and ensure Cost-effective solutions and innovative approach to network planning is maintained.
  • Produce detailed microwave link engineering design using Pathloss planning tool.

Analyst – Infrastructure

Job Description:
  • Develop, document and oversee the life cycle and maintenance of IT infrastructure components, including servers, databases, backup, storage, and systems management components for MTNN in accordance with standard design specifications.

Description:

  • Plan and monitor complex virtual clusters (VMware, Tanzu, Redhat OpenShift, Azure, Oracle Linux KVM) , physical server, database, storage, backup infrastructure to detect anomalies and prevent service disruptions to the greatest degree possible
  • Identify ways to streamline IT Infrastructure architecture documentation and align them to best international practice.
  • Coordinate, manage and conduct research studies around Private and Public Cloud infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, Infrastructure-as-Code, Hadoop Database, MongoDB, Exchange, Oracle Database, Backup, Microsoft business suites.
  • Leverage ITIL technics to identify potential Infrastructure incidents and provide proactive and reactive solutions to mitigate disruption to services.

  • Ensure spare power capacity is available for redundancy and future installations and provide 2nd level support to regional operations in assigned areas/ region.

  • Completion and submission of all monthly/Quarterly routine maintenance activities reports within timeline and saving on the servers. E.g. Carbon Reports, Monthly Diesel Utilization Report, Q1-Q4 Earth Integrity Report, Vendor Evaluation Q1-Q4,
  • Support initiatives to improve PHCN Utilization at Switch centers, FC, VGCs, B2B and or offices.
  • Monitor maintenance contracts for regional contractors.

Coordinator – Project Core and Backhaul

Job Description:
  • Coordinate the complete IP & Data Project Rollout Process, indicating the various activity variables, resources and the responsible parties.

  • To carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance on key power equipment in switching centers and technical locations. Which includes generator, transformer, UPS, rectifier, HVAC, and diesel management.

Description:

  • Ensure strict adherence to all policies, processes, and procedures of MTN for power planning systems and continuous improvement to foster efficiency.

  • Ensure all presentations and reports (daily, weekly, etc.) on the overall power systems of the network are available.

Education:

Experience:

3–7 years of work experience, which must include:

  • Good experience in M&E designs and installations
