Quality Control Officer

Job Description:

A Quality Control (QC) Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products, services, or processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adequate batch controls of the feedmill raw materials and ensure clearance is given before milling to make sure of consistency in milling good feed.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of products, materials, or services to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
• Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformities to relevant stakeholders, including production teams, suppliers, or management.
• Collaborate with production teams, suppliers, or contractors to implement corrective actions, resolve defects, and prevent reoccurrence.
• Collect, analyze, and report quality metrics, including defect rates, failure rates, or other relevant quality indicators.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Provide training and awareness programs for employees, suppliers, or contractors on quality control procedures, policies, and standards.
• Participate in internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and laws.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Salary Range: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000/month
