In response to a popular throwback image of Basketmouth and AY together, comedian Bovi

Following Basketmouth’s denial that he was ever pals with AY comedian, popular Nigerian comedian Bovi Ugboma replied to an old photo of his senior colleagues, Basketmouth and AY comedian.
Remember that Basketmouth claimed he and AY have never been close friends or had any other kind of relationship in a recent episode of the podcast “Honest Bunch crew” with media personality Nedu.
The comedian said that AY was spreading false information about their dispute to advertise his forthcoming show, saying that this was typical of him.

He claims that the revelations made by AY during their recent conversation with Chude are 90% falsehoods.

A few hours after the interview made the rounds online, social media users dug up a photo of the duo pictured together years back at an event. Reacting to the photo after a social media user shared it via the microblogging platform, Bovi threw a jab at Basketmouth, adding that the photo was taken in 2004.

“This is Baskmouth and a fan,” he wrote. 2004! No bother, AY! For me, call Chude before you go.

In the meantime, Bovi just revealed the cause of his breakup with Basketmouth.

The media personality said he is no longer friends with Basketmouth because he chose to concentrate on himself and his brand during an interview with Chude Jidenowo.

He claimed that there is a limit to how far some individuals can push you and that eventually you will need to stand up and advance further.

The influencer continued by saying that he and Basketmouth remain good friends.

Bovi compared their current connection to their prior one and asserted that the earlier phase was only a passing phase.

He emphasized that his priorities have evolved as his children have grown, and that right now, his top priorities are his family and his happiness.
