In a cease-and-desist letter, Davido threatens to take Dammy Krane to court

A cease-and-desist letter regarding defamatory publications against him has been sent by Nigerian Afrobeat musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, to his colleague Oyindamola Emmanuel, better known by stage name Dammy Krane.
Davido just announced his engagement to Chioma Rowland, so Dammy Krane used his X handle—formerly Twitter—to hurl accusations against the musician.

Davido acted after receiving responses to the message on social media from his followers.

In a letter sent through his attorney, Chikaosolu Ojukwu, SAN, Davido demanded that Dammy Krane take down any derogatory posts made about him on social media within a day.

Additionally, he requested that the singer abstain from posting any more disparaging remarks against Davido on any website.

The attorney issued a warning, stating that Davido would be forced to take all appropriate legal action should Dammy Krane refuse to abide by the requests within the allotted period.
