#EndBadGovernance: Organizers Plan One-Million-Man Protest in 36 States and Abuja on Saturday

The Take It Back Movement, a primary organizer of the #EndBadGovernance protest, has announced a large one-million-man march on Saturday across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Sanyaolu Juwon, the movement’s National Coordinator, made the following announcement on Thursday in Abuja: “On August 10, the Take It Back Movement (TIB), in collaboration with other organizers and organizations, will lead a monumental one-million-man protest in each of Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

This event will be a watershed moment in our national EndBadGovernanceInNigeria campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.

“It started as a planned 10-day protest but has evolved into a sustained and widespread movement, drawing participants from every corner of Nigeria and the diaspora.”

The demonstration, as reported by Lagmen Net, began on August 1 and will end on Saturday, August 10.

It seeks to raise attention to the significant problems that citizens face, pushing all levels of government to take action.

Despite being hijacked by criminals, the protest has seen widespread participation, notably in the northern states.
