Applications are solicited from adequately qualified applicants for admission to Sam Maris University, Supare-Akoko, Ondo State, for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
Sam Maris University is a newly created higher education institution that has been licensed by the Federal Republic of Nigeria to function as a private university. The University is located in a peaceful atmosphere at Km 2, Etioro-Afaa Road, Supare-Akoko, and is established on a big plot of land at its permanent site.
The University has cutting-edge structures such as the Senate Building, Administrative Block, and Academic Buildings for the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences and the Faculty of Computing and Environmental Sciences. Other facilities include a sports field, hostels, a library, a health center, a cafeteria, and well-equipped laboratories and studios for high-quality teaching, experiential learning, and cutting-edge, high-impact research.
Our University is motivated by ICT and the need to generate globally competitive graduates who are instilled with the spirit of entrepreneurship and good character. We are also motivated by the need to equip the next generation of leaders with the information and skills necessary to operate the growing 21st-century knowledge-driven economy.

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates must have sat for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and scored the minimum cut-off mark of 140 in the examination. This is irrespective of preferred choice of institutions or courses of study.
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates should:
- visit any JAMB UTME Registration Centre nationwide, and
- apply for change of institution to Sam Maris University, Supare-Akoko.
- Candidates who wish to change their courses of study alongside their choices of institutions to Sam Maris University are at liberty to do so, provided that the UTME subjects taken conform to the UTME subjects’ requirement for the new courses.
Finally, candidates should thereafter, proceed to apply and register for Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (P-UTME) Screening for admission into the University by clicking on the link: admissions@smu.edu.ng
