CHIVIDO 2024: Davido laments, “The money sprayed at our wedding does not tally with what we took home”

The afrobeats musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has said that the amount of money they took home and the amount they sprayed at their extravagant wedding do match.
Remember that on June 25, 2024, a number of officials and celebrities were seen attending a musician’s wedding? Many of them gave him and his wife large sums of money.
However, Davido claimed that the money sprayed at his wedding did not match the amount he and his wife took home in a remark under a video of visitors dousing him in cash during the nuptials.

“That video of all the money they spray is and what we carry home doesn’t even add up,” he wrote.

Following his traditional marriage ceremony to his wife, Chioma, Davido has since extended a message of gratitude to his loved ones and supporters.

The creme de la creme of society, including politicians, celebrities, businessmen, friends, and other loved ones, attended the extravagant wedding ceremony on Wednesday in Lagos, and it was the talk of the town.
Davido thanked everyone who contributed to the wedding’s success in a post posted on his official X account on Thursday.

It was a magnificent ceremony, in his opinion, and evidence that love triumphed.

“Thanks to everyone that made our day a magical one!” he wrote. Love won! 💪🏾❤️. We love and thank you.
