Naira Fights Back Against US Dollar in Official Market
The Nigerian naira rose to ₦1,607.15 per US dollar on the official market.

The FMDQ Exchange, which operates the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), said that the naira increased by ₦9.93.

This represents a 0.61 percent increase from the previous trading day on August 2, when the exchange rate was ₦1,617.08 per dollar.However, total daily turnover fell to 77.09 million dollars on Monday, down from the 131.55 million dollars reported on August 2.

During the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the naira fluctuated between ₦1,620.50 and ₦1,570.00 per dollar.
