APC National Auditor Resigns from Party

George Moghalu, an All Progressives Congress (APC) founding member and the party’s first National Auditor, has formally resigned from the organization, citing personal reasons for his decision.

In his letter of resignation, the former managing director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) informed the chairman of Uruagu Ward 1, Nnewi, Nnewi North LGA, Anambra State.

The letter was addressed to the state and local chairmen of the APC and bore the subject “Resignation Of Membership Of The APC.””I bring you good wishes of my dear family and to formally notify you of my decision to resign my membership in the APC with effect from today, August 26, 2024,” wrote Moghalu in a three-paragraph resignation letter dated August 26, 2024.

Accept this as my personal choice, please. My sincere hope and expectation is that the friendly relationship we have all developed over the years will remain intact.

“I send my best wishes to you and every partygoer. Kindly acknowledge that you have my undying best wishes.
