Lola Idije Responds to Rumors About Daughter’s Boyfriend

Lola Idije, a veteran Yoruba Nollywood actress, has denied reports that her junior colleague, Biodun Okeowo, better known as Omoborty, stole her daughter’s lover.
Gislover, a controversial Instagram blogger, claimed that the curvy actress, who married her US-based lover, Adeniyi Olabiyi, in July this year, ended the relationship between the man and Lola’s kid.
The blog further claimed that the romance controversy prevented many Biodun’s industry colleagues from attending the wedding.

However, Biodun denied the accusation in an online video.

The Yoruba movie star revealed that Lola Idije and her daughter had never met Adeniyi until speaking with him through her.

She also acknowledged to taking Lola as her mother following her own mother’s death.

In an Instagram post, Lola stated that Omoborty did not kidnap Adeniyi from her daughter, and that she would not have attended the wedding if this had occurred.

She added, “I’d like to address the story that has been going around since yesterday and clear the air.” The first time I spoke with Omoborty’s spouse was over the phone, when she introduced us. I didn’t know him before that. None of my girls know him directly. Biodun (aka Omoborty) did not kidnap my daughter’s lover. I attended the wedding.

There is no way she would do that and I will still go to the wedding. Thank you, and I hope this simplifies things.
