Matheus Nunes, a Portuguese professional footballer for Manchester City, has been detained for alleged stealing.
According to reports, Nunes was questioned by officials for allegedly’stealing’ a smartphone at a nightclub in Madrid, Spain.
The athlete was seized early on September 8 at a major club named La Riviera and transferred to a neighboring police station for questioning.

It was said that the incident occurred at 5:30 a.m., following allegations that he grabbed the phone from a 58-year-old man who attempted to picture him without his permission in the club’s washroom.

The 26-year-old Brazilian footballer allegedly grabbed the phone and refused to return it.

El Mundo reports that officers caught him after receiving a call to the area and discovering the phone in his possession.

Nunes signed for Manchester City in the English Premier League two years ago for a sum of €62 million, although he was also regarded a backup option for Pep Guardiola.
