Mbappé’s UEFA Champions League Debut with Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappé trained with Real Madrid on Monday, ahead of his first UEFA Champions League game with the club since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

The 25-year-old French striker has four goals in six appearances since joining Real Madrid and will look to add to that number in the club’s showdown against Stuttgart in the Spanish capital on Tuesday.

Mbappé was formally introduced to Real Madrid in July, describing the transfer as a childhood ‘dream’. It happened after he declined a move to Madrid two years ago, opting instead to continue his contract with Paris Saint Germain.

Madrid, who defeated Borussia Dortmund in last season’s final at Wembley Stadium in London, are aiming for their 16th European crown.

They will meet the team again at home on October 22nd.
During the Champions League’s revised league stage, the Spanish squad will play a series of home games, including against FC Salzburg and AC Milan. In the UK, Real Madrid will face six-time champions Liverpool, as well as Atalanta, Brest, and Lille.
