Spain and France are eligible for the BJKCup Final.

On Saturday, France and Spain each secured unassailable 3-0 leads over Britain and Mexico, respectively, and went on to qualify for the Billie Jean King Cup Finals. After defeating Britain’s Harriet Dart by scores of 6-1, 6-7 (10/12), and 6-1 indoors in Coventry, world no. 5 Caroline Garcia earned France the decisive point.

On Friday, Katie Boulter was defeated 6-7 (2/7), 7-6 (7/4), 7-6 (72) and Dart was defeated 7-6 (8/6), 7-6 (73) by Garcia and Alize Cornet after an almost six-hour match.

Nuria Parrizas Diaz, ranked 80, defeated Marcela Zacaras, ranked 196, 6-3, 6-0, in Marbella on clay to give the hosts Spain the victory.

Parrizas Diaz also won her singles tie in straight sets on Saturday along with Sara Sorribes Tormo to ensure Spain’s presence in the finals in November at a venue to be decided.

Due to the absence of Emma Raducanu, Britain, who advanced to the semifinals last year, was led by 117th-ranked Dart in the singles competition.

United States are 2-0 up over Austria at Delray Beach, headed by top-10 competitors Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff.

Gauff overcame Julia Grabher 6-1, 6-3 on Friday, followed by Pegula, who is ranked third, defeating Sinja Kraus 6-0, 7-5.

Up to two singles matches and one doubles match will be played on Saturday in the best-of-five-bout competition.

Switzerland, the defending champion, and 2022’s runners-up Australia was given direct entry into the finals, which will consist of four groups of three and take place from November 7–12.
